WHAT is a chemical peel?

Professionally applied, PCA SKIN peel solutions exfoliate dead skin cells and help healthy skin cells rise to the surface. These treatments allow deeper layers of fresh and untouched skin to be revealed.

There are varying depths of peel.  We always start patients with the least aggressive, most superficial peel.  This helps decrease skin sensitivity and makes the peel experience more comfortable for the patient.

WHEN should I get a chemical peel?

The skincare professionals at Revitalize Aesthetics recommend routine chemical peels every 3-4 weeks. 

WHAT should I expect post-peel?

Typically, you can expect to start peeling to begin 3-5 days post treatment and it can last up to 10 days. Sometimes the peeling is not dramatic and can only be some flaking. Other times, with deeper peels, there can be the characteristic peel “sheeting” you’ve maybe seen on Instagram or TikTok.
